Prayer Request
Wednesday, April 2, 2025 - For anyone visiting the website this morning, I have an important job interview later today and could use a few prayers. Not so much like, “God, please give Stephen this job” seeing as we, as God’s human creation, are required to “do our part” in the equation as well, right? Plus, there’s always “God’s Perfect Timing” and “God’s Wisdom” that comes into play. Instead, maybe just a quick prayer to give me (Stephen) the confidence to keep my head high, knowledge to answer the interview questions intelligibly, and wisdom to remain humble, grounded and honoring to God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ in all that I say and do. Thank you.

The first round technical interview went very well :). So I’m very happy and relieved about that. Time now to hone my technical skills to be even more prepared for the next round. Praying this one works out! I really believe it’s a great opportunity - Stephen

I survived the first technical interview! Actually, the talent acquisition recruiter said I did “well”, so I’ll take that as a good sign :). So now I’m on for the second technical interview this Wednesday, April 9th, so please, if you would be so kind, continue to keep me in your prayers. Thank you - Stephen

Wednesday, April 9, 2025 - Had my second technical interview with the same company. I believe it went very well. Now I just have to wait for their decision. But I’m really trying to not think or worry myself over it. If it happens, it happens. If it doesn’t…again, not going to allow myself to dwell on something like this considering the next move is completely out of my control at this point. Thanks for keeping me in your prayers! Very much appreciated.

Friday, April 18, 2025 - Sent a followup email to the Talent Acquisition technical recruiter I’ve been working with on Tuesday of this week. He did email me back to let me know he would follow up with the team on things for me. Hoping to hear a decision one way or the other early next week if possible. In the meantime, 🙏 for a successful outcome (but, ultimately, I have to leave it in God’s hands). I’ve literally done all I can at this point :)
